All the coffee mugs and soda cups that “walked out” of brick house. He’s doing inventory while it’s quiet.

It’s Thursday and Tony is supposed to be cooking his awesome hamburger for me! We miss everyone.

All his friends.

Obviously COFFEE

Coffee I think.

Someone to play pool with. Lol

Nice mug. 🙂

I miss Tony’s bacon mac n’ cheese!

Someone to clean lmao

Today we were made aware of an email that has been sent out by the American Poolplayers Association (APA) National Office. This email was sent, as best we can tell, as a precautionary measure to inform members to be aware and vigilant concerning all things associated with Novel Coronavirus. We all need to do our part to help "flatten the curve" as the experts say. At the same time we do not want to participate in fear mongering or be a participant in any type of panic. On that note, the email states an individual attended the 2020 APA Spring 8-Ball Classic and/or the 9-Ball Shootout event held at Brick House Billiards and since attending has possibly tested positive for Novel Coronavirus.

There is no guarantee that the player was positive for Novel Coronavirus at the time of the tournament, obviously the opposite is also a possibility. It is possible the player became exposed to the virus after the tournament. The date of the event was more than 14 days ago from today and experts currently believe the incubation period is 1 - 14 days (most commonly 5 days) from date of exposure. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or any other flu like symptoms please seek appropriate medical care.

APA has already issued another letter clarifying some of the same things we have just discussed. APA took a proactive stance and in doing such may have omitted some key points. In efforts to provide more information as soon as possible it is easy to miss some details.

We are not aware of any employees, local league members or any customers at all having any symptoms. As many businesses do, we have always put an emphasis on cleanliness and the well being of the community. Please be extra cautious during these challenging times.

Finally, please take care of yourselves and continue to look out for your community, whatever / whomever your community may be. Is there an elderly person in your neighborhood that may need some shopping done for them? Do you have a neighbor who has a compromised immune system? Maybe they need some help you could provide. If there is something we can help with then please let us know. We miss all of our BHB family and are anxious to get through this and get back to enjoying your company once again.

Best wishes

Jeff, you're very welcome. Please take every possible precaution, stay safe, and we will see you again on the other side of this.

Thanks so much for relaying this information, as you all know I was there working the event and have been hunkered down here now at home for over a week. As Brad stated it is past the 14 day incubation period and i have no signs of the virus. I hope that whoever attended this event has taken the same precautions and that everyone is safe and doing well.. Hope to see you all down the road.

Being I am a kidney and pancreas transplant recipient I have a near 0% immune system and was glad I was notified of this situation. Thank you APA Committee and Brick House Billiards for your notification of this matter.

Be safe everyone

Only 4 days and I miss our community already
Stay safe my friends

60 hours 41 minutes

We miss you all as well.

If you were wondering if you will still be able to get a great Reuben sandwich, the best Riggies around CNY or maybe a perfectly cooked 1/2 lb Angus burger then you better hurry. Brick House Billiards will close at 8:00 PM tonight and remain closed until further notice. The NY State Governor has ordered all bars and restaurants as well as many other places that people congregate to close until further notice. We obviously love to be open for our BHB community and family but we also understand, and feel confident that you also know, we need a healthy community and family. Please use some extra precautions during the next few weeks. Wash your hands regularly and please be safe. We look forward to seeing all of you again in the very near future. ... See MoreSee Less
